This year The Emily Morgan Hotel in San Antonio,TX (the Official Hotel of the Alamo) has been chosen as the location for the 29th USS Salt Lake City Association reunion. The dates are Sunday, June 26 through Friday, July 1.

The Emily Morgan (a Double Tree hotel by Hilton) is located on the historic battlefield, which is adjacent to and overlooking the Alamo. It is the second most photographed building in all of San Antonio (second only to the Alamo) and two blocks from the San Antonio River Walk, surrounded by charming shops, outdoor restaurants, interactive museums and night life. The hotel room rate is $129.00 per night for a single, double, triple or quad occupancy (plus a state and local tax rate of 16.75%). The comparable rack rate for this room is $179.00. The group rate is available 3 days before and 3 days after the reunion dates. A breakfast buffet meal voucher is available for sale in addition to the room charge ($10/per person/per day). All rooms include a coffee maker, iron/ironing board, hairdryer, in-room safe, and free Wi-Fi.

Located in the lobby is the ORO Restaurant and Bar, open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner (Happy Hour from 4–7). Valet parking is available for a reduced rate of $16 (regular rate is $35). A complimentary Mercedes Benz SUV is available for transportation within a three mile radius (the hours are limited and reservations are recommended). The San Antonio International Airport is 8 miles away and a shuttle service from the airport is available for $19 (one-way) or $34 (round-trip).
