He was in the 5th Division.
Edward Eule Kennedy, age 84, of Quitman, Arkansas, passed away Monday, September 29, 2008, at the Baptist Health Medical Center in Heber Springs. Born at Fairbanks, Arkansas, on June 26, 1924, he was the son of the late L. L. and Lula (Edwards) Kennedy.
kennedy-e-02 A lifetime resident of Cleburne County, Mr. Kennedy was President of Plant Truck Line in Heber Springs, and he was a long standing member of the Arkansas Motor Carriers Association. Mr. Kennedy was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of the Quitman First Baptist Church and was a past superintendent of the Sunday School.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-one and a half years, Nelda (Plant) Kennedy of Quitman; one son, Stanley Kennedy of Quitman; one daughter, Sherry Gasaway of Heber Springs; three brothers, Eldon Kennedy of Quitman, L. L. Kennedy, Jr. of Jacksonville, and Dois Kennedy of Ft. Smith; one sister, Juanita Kincaid of North Little Rock; one grandson, Josh Kennedy of Quitman; one granddaughter, Audra Head of Fairbanks; and six great grandchildren. Mr. Kennedy is also survived by other relatives and his many friends.
