My name is Arthur Mercer and I served aboard the SLC 3/24/40 to 10/1/42 when I was rated GM2c.

I have attended the SLC reunions for the past two years and have really enjoyed meeting with all the old shipmates. I spent twenty years in the Navy and retired in San Diego December 7, 1959.

Your SLC website is great and I am trying to cover all the news and memorabilia that you have created.
